Second, consider the value. You'll get one of the world's best educations. It's tough to find a private college alumnus who doesn't consider the cost of their bachelor's degree a good investment that's paid off through increased earning power, awakened interests and life-long relationships.

Third, odds are you'll be out and earning money in four years. Meanwhile, back at Look-At-Our-Towering-Stadium University, your buddies who couldn't wedge themselves into all the courses they needed have to pay for a fifth year of tuition. Do the math: you pay for four years and then earn a salary for a year. They pay for five years. You tell us, what's the better deal?
